Dear Families,
We had a wonderful week at LPS celebrating Spirit Week for Homecoming by participating in the fun dress up days. The LCSC administrative team is looking forward to participating in the Homecoming Parade tonight! We hope the Tigers bring home a win!
We also enjoyed celebrating the great achievements of our students! We recognized students who were selected as Rockin' Reader, Math Master, Awesome Author, Principal's Pride, SRO Club Member, and Preschool Student of the Month. We love celebrating all of students' achievements each month. Students received a prize, certificate, and had their photo taken. These photos were posted on our social media pages, Dojo, and can also be seen below. Congratulations and keep up the great work! Students started participating in their Response to Intervention (RTI) groups this week. Each day time is set aside to provide instruction to students on their level based on their test scores. This is an important way we work with students to help fill skill deficits.
We look forward to welcoming all of our grandpeople next week. Please be sure to let your child's teacher know if you do not have someone available to attend, so we can connect them with a volunteer. Also, please let your grandpeople know to line up by the cafeteria doors (door 2). It is also helpful if you make sure they know your child's classroom teacher. It will be a fun event for all! Have a wonderful weekend!
Yours in Education, |
