We strongly encourage families to complete the Free or Reduced Meal and Textbooks Assistance Application at the following link if you think you may qualify for meal or textbook assistance: https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application. This application must be completed online every school year. Dear Families,

Wow! I can't believe the 1st Quarter is already finished. Our students have worked hard learning their routines and beginning of year academic standards. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and are excited to see what next quarter brings! You can view your child's grades at any time by logging in to your PowerSchool account. If you download the app on your phone, you can opt in for notifications each time a new assignment is added. Official report cards will be given and discussed during Parent Teacher Conferences on the 10/30 eLearning Day. Many teachers have already posted their sign-ups, so please be sure to sign up to meet with your child's teacher to go over their progress in the 1st Quarter. 

Today we celebrated students' good behavior with a Class Dojo reward party. Miss Wilkinson and I hosted each grade level for an extra recess and popsicle for students who earned an 80% or higher on their Dojo for the quarter. We love celebrating students for their great choices! See some photos below!

The week we return from break we will be issuing prizes for students who raised money for the PTO Walk-a-thon. You can view the dates for the prizes in the graphic below. We will also have a program presented by the Lawrenceburg Fire Department regarding fire safety, a PTO restaurant night, and half of the 2nd graders will go on their field trip the week we return. So many exciting things to look forward to after break!

Tomorrow starts Fall Break for Lawrenceburg Community Schools. We hope you enjoy some family time and rest during the students' time off from school.
